You don't need to teach history. Just name a single thing Musk would have to gain from giving control of his capital to a fascism government? He's already on track to become a trillionaire without them. He has everything to lose, and I see nothing to gain.
Now, a capitalist who is not so successful, could potentially gain a lot from fascist corporatism, so it's worth the risks of losing it.
how about direct access to and ostensible authority over the federal government, just off the top of my head
