I think the idea is that if you can make a functional game within a game, that leaves a lot of room for experimentation that otherwise wouldn't get done, like has been done in the past with modding tools. Some of the games within Roblox seem pretty innovative, it's just a shame that the way they do business is so focused on microtransactions and psychological manipulation/exploitation of children.
