I'm shocked they have only managed to bag 188 of them. I mean you go to a church leader meeting almost anywhere and you can get them by the dozens
It really is stunning when you think how many there are hiding in plain sight. There is a church on every other corner in the US and the people who run it have zero problem gaslighting the customers with religion myths.
The customers see the pastors and priests as very important people but in reality their position is invented by the company. It doesn't actually mean anything but it gives these people power over the masses to abuse the customers.
It was SO worse back in the day. My first wife laughed about the old man down the street, "Yeah, all us little girls knew what we were in for if we went to his house! 'Go in there, you're on your own!'"
I think the fix is more on educating kids than catching predators. Molesters in one's family are the tough ones to catch. Molesters beget molesters, gotta break that cycle, no idea how.
Oh for sure. Sex ed for kids is SO important for that reason, one of the reason the gop wants to get rid of it
Bit off topic, but sex ed in my day was, "You will fucking DIE!" Nothing religious or partisan about it, we just didn't have instant cures for venereal diseases and AIDS was on the rise.
I find it hilarious that crabs are damned near extinct. Read an article about British volunteers voluntarily hosting crabs so we can continue studying them!
I have no idea how I got laid in the 80s and 90s, what a shitshow.
