Surely if the work is regular, he could convert to permanent after one year? Unless they are purposely changing his hours to make him ineligible.

It's been a similar issue for self employed people forever.

It doesn't really go too much into his occupational situation, but that seems like a pretty decent wage for a disability care worker.

Still if he's earning that much and ineligible it's a shit situation for all.

I’d imagine it’s an ndis company paying over the odds while there is demand and few qualified workers. So, it could be temporary higher pay. I’d imagine that’s also why it’s casual.
