That's not all that communism is though. Capitalism has publicly owned services too.
Those are all features of communism (lack of civil rights though).
You can add things to the definitions of words all you like but it just puts you on the same level as those tankies screaming bloody murder about Capitalism.
I'm not the one doing that. You're the one trying to redefine communism. Capitalism doesn't say that there are no public services. A public service itself is not "communism".
By definitions of words capitalism and communism are not conflicting ideologies unless applied to the extreme.
The dictionaries tell us this:
Capitalism means private ownership of production of goods and services.
Communism means worker owned production of goods and services.
Obviously you could argue that all Capitalism is Laissez Faire and that all communism is some abominable mix of Marxism and somehow dictatorship, but then we have no terms to describe the 99% of industries that fall anywhere in the middle as anything except "market system."
