I feel like BRB kinda disappeared too. It’s like we took it for granted and one day it decided “you know what? I’m not gonna be back”.

how far are you away from keyboard though? One usually has their phone and people are used to asyncing chats. it's not like I sit down and put memes in the group chat as a scheduled event

I still use it and see it used, I don't think it's gone, maybe you're just not encountering it as much
