The most expensive ancient coin ever sold.

Also, Brutus and his co conspirators were run out of Rome, partially due to this coin issue. The common people REALLY didn't appreciate them taking out Caesar, while they expected to be hailed as heroes saving the republic. How the turntables...

Did they not bother to check public sentiment before minting them? Or were they so sure of themselves they made the coins first?

AI hadn't been invented to do twitter sentiment analysis yet so the marketing teams was running off of vibes and the Auspices of the sacred chickens.
