The Python Software Foundation (PSF) has withdrawn its $1.5 million grant proposal to the U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF) due to funding terms forcing a compromise on its commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

I don't own a pair of "programming" socks. I'm not the target audience for them. But if Python sold a pair to raise money? I could get behind that.

No socks specifically but they do sell plenty of other merch if you want to both financially support and represent them at the same time

I was delighted recently to discover kde has swag and bought some for me and for presents. Every open source group should have a store.
