I'm absolutely certain more people fear their kids being those things over homosexual.

Even if it were backwards the post would be asking for people to care less about the first stuff, since you’re saying they don’t care that much about having gay sons. The level of homophobia does not change and the post is wouldn’t be asking for that in any valid interpretation.

I think they may be more horrified finding out their children become those things, but I don't think they actively fear that possibility in advance. Contrast with the gay scenario where a fair number of parents actively fear that possibility well in advance of any signs that might even be a thing.
