OMG he mentioned The Smoot-Hawley Tariff Act being linked to the depression. MAGA, before Trump, before Bush, Reagan was your god. What say you now MAGA? Republican god says that tariffs worsened the great depression and provided logical pretext for why it's still a bad long term strategy. (There are so many ways that Reagan was a piece of shit, but this stance on tariffs is something his administration got right.)
