The last shutdown, or one of the previous ones at least, was stopped when air traffic got really fucked up and suddenly all the rich were inconvenienced. They can't strike, but they can slow things down in creative ways. Maybe they can just start routing all the need-to-crash-and-burn private planes with their fuckhead passengers to out the way airports. I'm not talking about the small private plane owners. Most of them fly out of little airports anyway.
