They definitely look more yellow-orange than red. Can you tell if it's that beetle from these?
Looking a bit online, it seems that the Asian Lady Beetle has a white spot on the head between the head and the body. These all have that. Also many of them have an obvious "M" shape there.
From a brief reading they only cause nuisance and I don't see recommendation to kill them.
I'm not 100% on ladybug lookalikes but yeah, that for sure looks like the Asian lady beetle to me. They're not the most harmful thing and were intentionally released in the U.S. to control aphids. I can't advise more sadly.
I'll put away the vacuum.
the only thing i find about them that IS a good reason to kill them is that they are (and have since the 70s when they were introduced into North America) detrimental to the the native population of ladybugs (the red ones) and also, these guys can bite and there's also a possibility you might have a allergic reaction to the bite. I have handled a bunch of these guys and never been bitten, but my anecdotical evidence is not something to go off of.
