The need to protect children from the many online harms is real, so its understandable that governments around the world, from the EU to Australia to Canada, are keen to follow the UK’s newly-enforced age verification law.

Uhh no Proton. The only thing that should be mandated is parental controls, then leave it up to the parents. All these age verification laws do is make the internet a more dangerous place for everyone, not just children.

But this isn't about safety, it's about state control. Don't be complicit in that, Proton... you already have fucked your public image recently.
