But if every day & all night long, people are sleeping on that bench so it can never be used for its intended purpose of paying customers waiting-for-bus, that's where the problem lies.

Sleeping on benches is apparently such a huge problem that many public places have no seating options available anywhere anymore. I recall traveling daily through the DC Metro, brutalist concrete architecture everywhere, on my feet all day, and it was even illegal to sit on the ground to rest my throbbing legs for 30 seconds. I was even sitting on a BALL that I had, and Metro employee comes up to me and tells me "NO SITTING ALLOWED. KEEP MOVING." 🤬

I fucking despise [insert whatever nouns to suit the topic].

So, the authorities not allowing anyone at all to sit or rest and removing all of the public seating is to be blamed on unhoused people? The people actively causing you to not be allowed to sit and rest, for even a moment, are the unhoused, they’re the ones who took that from you?

No, my second paragraph was simply expressing anger at the fact there's nowhere to sit anymore. Blaming it on authorities for removing all seats, and even the right to sit.

Thanks for the clarification, I apologize for being crass.
