I use a UCG Max gateway at home with some WiFi access points for connectivity. I really like it, and so I just bought a 2nd one to use at a cabin that we haven't yet moved into. My wife will be making the initial trip alone, so I want to send everything with her ready to plug in and go. Since I haven't done something like this before, I'm looking for some guidance or confirmation from smarter people than me that this will work.

Can I plug the new gateway into my existing gateway to adopt it into my account as a new Site, then adopt the WiFi access point to the new gateway and expect everything to just work when my wife takes it and plugs in the ethernet from the new ISP in the new location? I also intend to buy some of the Unifi cameras and connect them up too. I think I can talk my wife through doing that remotely if needed but I'd like to adopt them into the Protect app on the new gateway in advance too.

Does this seem straightforward? Any suggestions? Or should I not do anything with the new gateway until it is connected to the new ISP?

Perfect, I was hoping it would be this easy, but if there were going to be hangups I wanted to know in advance. Thank you!
