I just had a burrito with avocado in it. Nowhere close to the temperature a pizza oven hits, but the avocado didn't break down.
I've also had avocado wraps (avocado, alfalfa sprouts, Muenster cheese, sliced green olives, in a flour tortilla) heated on both sides in a pan, and the avocado held up well. Still not pizza oven hot.
If it's under the cheese (assuming there's cheese), it could survive in a recognizable form. It could also be added after the pizza comes out of the oven.
Avocado absolutely belongs in a burrito though. Guacamole has its place but I like avocado slices and wedges.
I side think about putting it on the pizza after it cooks but that seems like cheating. Under the cheese sounds doable though.
