I'm 6'6" (198cm) tall. I have various muscle issues on account of my height, reaching or even seeing lower shelves can be difficult, I bang my head on everything, and I barely fit in my own car.

I still would have to choose the 8' (243cm) option, because I have no idea how to be short. While I know there will be problems being short, I can conceptualize and understand what those problems will be. I have absolutely no idea what they would be if I suddenly lost over half my height.

I'm like 6'1 and I think it's about perfect, at least for a man. Any taller and I'd have to deal with that shit, while shorter has minor benefits to ergonomics but much less drip.

I have giant fucking feet anyway, though, and buying shoes is a whole thing.
