Is that ladder how you enter and never exit again?
That's how to get in and out of the bathroom pit. It's just easier to clean up if the ~~victim~~ guest uses the toilet.
How else is the creature supposed to go to the potty?
You can exit if you want, just make sure not to wake up anything in the process ;)
