Y'all Quaeda

But seriously, the Christian fundamentalists in this country are a borderline cult, and are extremely dangerous to our democracy. There is no compromising or reasoning with most of them. Deprogramming these people is not going to be easy.

The difference between a religion and a cult is social acceptance.

"Cult" gets a bad wrap, honestly. Literally anything regularly involving more than one person can be cult. Having weekly brunch? Cult. Weekends hanging out in a basement playing games? Cult. The group smoke break by the dumpster? Cult. The bunch of kids playing everyday at recess? Cult. The real difference is zealotry (Edit: and/or institution).

  1. Taliban is a cult of fiction, a science fiction story called The Quran originated in year 635

  2. Christians are a cult of fiction, Bible story originated in the Levant, 2000 years ago

  3. Fox News is a cult of fiction...

  4. Truth Social is fiction...

  5. Twitter, Elon Musk owned, is fiction....

Cults of fiction have been running the world, all over the world, for a very long time. The Founding Fathers of the USA did not base the nation on fiction storytelling of magical angels who bless Kings.
