If you aren't even here (who tf calls it the colonies?) or know enough to talk about it, then you really need to shut up about it. "The Fed" here refers to the Federal Reserve. If that shuts down we are very fucked. But it appears you are trying to talk about the federal government. In which case there are an assload of departments which protect the people and our interests. If the federal government gets shut down, they do as well. Not just the shitty parts suffer.

Then you aren't very observant or well read. Which is making your position fall flat. You can't just ignore reality and pretend there aren't good departments or good things that exist. That's ignoring a great deal to make a shakey and rather flippant assertion.
If you want to just say uninformed bullshit you aren't any better than the MAGAts that ignore facts and give equally ignorant opinions. Know what you are talking about, or be open to being wrong at least and then learning from it by going and reading or hell, even watching a half decent educational video.
