His Jewish background and knowledge of the Holocaust makes this far worse. Bernie shall not be forgiven for this.

That's another way to look at it, no doubt.

But people are tribal and it is hard to turn on what is precieved as your in group.

Many Jews have and were some of the loudest voices. It would have been very easy for Bernie to blend in there.

Kibbutz Bernie has been a lifelong colonist and that is the cold hard reality. He supports Apartheid because he benefitted from it.

Not going to dispute that he danced around the issue trying to get benefits from sides. Liberal anti genocide votes and support of the lobby.

It hurts but it is true :/
