And normalising their shitty behaviour by getting people used to it, so that when they do something horrible, it's not seen as such a leap

Texas, without the gerrymandering is close to, if not outright, a blue state.
Blue state here. Good. Kick us out. That way we can stop subsidizing all the moronic sibling-fucking mouth-breathing nazi wannabe amoeba in red states and my tax dollars can do good work here at home instead.
Some folks in Flyover, PA and upstate New York are gonna be real mad about that.
