I'm glad the court reached the correct decision here, but I simply cannot fathom how they could think that girl might not fully understand the procedure, so should instead be saddled with a child to raise for the next 18 years. Children should not be forced to give birth to / raise other children, especially when the child is not old enough to live independently.
I assume they assume the child would be put up for adoption or put in state care to also be raped at 11 when she comes of age.:(
But to be fair conservatives really don't give a ahit after they have been birthed, so who knows ?
