Jerry Seinfeld likened the Free Palestine movement to the Ku Klux Klan — even saying those who use the phrase "Free Palestine" are worse than the white supremacist group — at a student event at Duke University meant to honor hostages who are being held in Gaza.

Seinfeld spoke at the school in Durham, North Carolina, to introduce a former Israeli hostage, Omer Shem Tov, when he made the remarks, according to the university's student newspaper, The Duke Chronicle. He reportedly started by saying, in reference to the Free Palestine activist movement, "Just say you don’t like Jews."

“By saying 'Free Palestine,' you’re not admitting what you really think. So it’s actually — compared to the Ku Klux Klan, I’m actually thinking the Klan is actually a little better here, because they can come right out and say, ‘We don’t like Blacks, we don’t like Jews.’ Okay, that’s honest,'" the Chronicle reported Seinfeld said.

It really is an achievement to be the least popular character on your own TV show

Wait was that the joke? Was he supposed to be an awful comedian and everyone in his life is somehow funnier passively? Cosmic clown.

No not intentionally. He sort of plays the role of the straight man in jokes, and the other characters are funnier

So his biggest joke is his struggle to be funny made impotent next to the day to day funny of Kramer or the soup Nazi... That is Greek theater 🤯

You forget that he’s one of the primary writes of Seinfeld. So if you think George is funny, newsflash it’s probably Jerry Seinfelds jokes

Jerry hasn't done anything funny since Seinfeld, whereas Larry David went on to make one of the funniest shows ever. I think Larry was sort of carrying that team.

I thought one conspiracy of Kramer's was funny. And maybe George's reaction to the soup nazi but I don't remember laughing. More like I didn't click away until the Jerry stand up scenes if nothing was on.

his biggest joke, was him calling people woke for not laughing at his jokes.

Eh, they hint at the awareness of it with the pilot episode. But that show is all Larry David anyway. All Seinfeld has a talent for is realizing how talented others are. Kind of like how George is in the pilot stuff where he’s just a tagalong lol

his like rob of isaip, pretentious and somewhat unfunny without his co-stars, which are better actors.
