Anyone in AU managed to mesh a code legal external smart socket with HA? Recommendations?

oo nice, that's a new site to me.

I was looking at the Clipsal range, but open to more options

case use: Monitoring rainwater tank pump. Basically wanna see / script an alert if it's drawing current out of timed use, which would catch leaks or ruptures in the poly.

I setup an esphome to monitor my water meter for tre same purpose (minus the tank).

Is the tank far from your wifi point? I didn't have much luck with the point I used, but I also had it behind a TV which blocked wifi.

Other side of the wall has one of our meshed WAPs (husband's home office) so definitely good.
