The print is brown but very thick, even in the thinner areas i don't see pink.

Was it growing on wood at least?

It came from the dirt path/storm overflow in the woods. Surrounded by living and downed trees.

Hm I guess petasatus just has browner spores than most Pluteus, the spore print here looks similar.
