Keep in mind this isn't a credible threat:

"I want to force your family to pick cotton at gunpoint, and I'll torture them if they refuse. Your children's children will belong to me."

Now imagine if there was a chance I could actually succeed at this (credible threat) and was threatening people behind me all day. Same reason it's not aggression to punch a Nazi. Stop defending aggressive people.
