Who TF DDoSs the AUR? Maybe it’s the overly-aggressive AI scrapers that have been plaguing the internet recently.

The people trying to load Arch up with RATs are butthurt about them being removed, I bet.

Yes. Some AURs have been recently afflicted with RATs. They were taken down as soon as they were found, and it's not an uncommon thing as AUR is largely unregulated by anyone other than Arch's community.

Which is good. That's how it's supposed to be with FOSS.

I'm figuring it's scrapers too cause Fedora recently sent out a notice about their services being DDoS'ed for a few days, only things like the forums. But they also think maybe a bug was causing it so 🤷‍♀️
