On the subject of Oklahoma, after they said that the Native Americans could keep it, they pulled a 180 and decided Americans could settle there. There were 2 major populations, the Boomers, who moved in when they were supposed to and settled in a big wave, and the Sooners, who moved in before they were allowed to and were already settled in the best spots when the Boomers arrived.
