i recognize the style right away, but yeah, the background is changed a lot between panels in a way a human never would.

The model can do any style from claymation to high photorealism. People choose this simplicity.

i’m talking about the art style, not the simplicity.
i like comics, i don’t like the default ai comic style that people keep putting out.

... simplicity is describing the art style. It's a clean unshaded look with consistent medium-weight lines. Like Herge.

it looks like shit and i hate it.
but everyone is entitled to their opinion and if you like then go ahead and like it.
i also hate Hergé’s style but not as much as this.
