Why don't some women do this and create their own civilisation? China has matriarchal tribes. With all the liberty, why isn't it attempted somewhere?

edit: added the some

Because women are not a homogenous group that all care about the same things, all share the same vision, and are all willing to destroy their lives and the lives of the men and boys they care about for a potential chance that maybe somehow sometime in some unspecified future things can get better.

Not all women have to, a fraction is enough, like not all men are pushing the patriarchy.

It only takes one match to burn a house down.

What do you mean? Women regularly do this, they have women spaces for fitness, medicine, women homeless shelters. There are also women communities in several states, and an international movement for this. I won't link to western ones because of the danger it could bring them (too many violent men on Lemmy) but here's a modern one in Africa:

So yeah, they have been. It does tend to get immediately attacked by men though (hence why I won't link any).

Have you seen the reaction to men being told not to comment in the women’s only instance? The problem isn’t what women are doing.

Have you seen the reaction of men to a bullet? The problem is also not what some men are doing.

NoT ALl Men!

Get over it. Men are still the problem in this context, even if it’s not all of them.

[–] plyth@feddit.org 1 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Sure, but in the context of rebelling against the patriarchy, women shouldn't have to ask for their permission.

[–] NotASharkInAManSuit@lemmy.world 1 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Who the fuck is asking for permission?

[–] plyth@feddit.org 1 points 3 months ago (1 children)

If men are the problem then why not do something about it without asking?

Why don’t some women do this and create their own civilisation?

Some women must want to do it. What's the obstacle?
