They sell special more rugged blinds at home Depot and Lowe's.
It's like hard plastic.
Catproof cuz otherwise mine would destroy them long time ago, it's always in and out of the window
My cat(s) managed to snap one of those thick slat blinds, but they're easy to glue back together at least.
