In an interview with Alaraby TV, Professor Cornel West, who is running for US president as a third-party candidate in 2024, described the ongoing situation in Gaza as "the greatest and most important moral test in the world today".

This statement was made during a demonstration in solidarity with Gaza, held on the sidelines of the Democratic National Convention in Chicago.

He stated that any individual with a minimal sense of ethics should recognise the magnitude of this catastrophe and advocate for intervention to stop it.

Really wish Dr West didn't fall off the horse so spectacularly. Really love and respect him but goddamn total lack of political acumen is so depressing
