IMO, the next "No Kings" protest should be "No Kings II" and then the next III and so on. It's such a perfect name that we should keep it.
No Kings the 2nd
Right?? The official logo on the site is amazing as well. I want a decal of it for my car tbh. Everything about this movement is so well put together
Yeah, I think it took at least 4 or 5 well-named peaceful protests to stop the Nazis, so you’re right on track.
I hate this criticism so much. You want others to start an armed revolution that you won't.
It's peak arm chair hypocrisy
Absolutely this. Nothing more craven than asking others to kill on your behalf.
Fix your own country. We've been telling you for decades this was going to happen.
If you're comparing this to the Nazis, you'd better be prepping for what happened in WWII. Except that America and Russia are going to be the Axis this time.
Took the words right out of my mouth.
Right so you think you have the moral imperative to tell me to risk my life to change the government in a country you don't even live in?
Fine, don't. No doubt you've done absolutely all you can. Have a seat, relax. Someone will be along to save you, I'm sure. Probably.
It's always easier to send someone else to die isn't it?
I'm politically involved, and plan to continue to be. I'm sorry that there's not enough bloodshed for you
👍
It also needs to stay on focus without devolving into a catch-all for every liberal agenda item. No Palestine, no LGBT+, just presidential overreach. Otherwise participation gets limited and we lose the needed numbers.
Every single thing you mentioned was there at that march. That's why it was so successful, because everyone who is pissed off felt welcome.
yeah! just the topic at hand! you’re not allowed to feel angry about a specific way in which it has personally harmed you! only the things i care about are valid!
Just the opposite. This cause brought a significant amount of Republicans out to the protest line. The ones that truly believe in small government. With numbers comes attention.
If we protest everything, then only those who agree with all of it will come out. Intersectionality only limits the audience.
That is one of the reasons why Occupy failed -they tried to protest everything at once. Capitalism, Police overreach, Homelessness, etc.
just because someone waves a pride flag does not mean that they are there to protest for LGBTQ rights
Agreed. However it might put off someone who is otherwise an ally of NoKings.
Tell me you don't know how protests work without telling me.
In which elementary grade you are and hasn't ChatGPT explain you already what a protest is?
Like “woke”. I get what you mean.
