Why has Hungary got it in for the Scots?
I can't speak about the Hungarians, but at least in Germany the scottish jokes are all about how they are penny pinchers and Scrooges.
Is it a joke if it's true?
You go all the way to Scotland for that, instead of the Netherlands?
Usually, we joke about our domestic penny pinchers, the Swabians, first, before resorting to imported Jokes about the Scottish.
