"Turning into" lol. The USA and all their partner countries like the ones in the 5 Eyes program have all been mass techno-surveillance states for decades.
The 5 eyes countries are not allowed to spy on their own citizens, but they can freely share data.
Isn't there an obvious loophole here.
I mean, they do it anyways.
Shhhh... Don't make it even more obvious. The fig leaf covering it is already so flaccid, that it might instantaneously turn into dust at the slightest disturbance.
It’s almost like it was by design.
They also just spy on their own citizens anyway, because who is going to stop them?
