Both too proud to de-escalate the situation. What the hell are they even arguing about? They're both children in suits.
Not children. Corrupt degenerate criminals that lack humanity.
... That act like children. That's what my point was.
I dunno, I've seen children with a lot more self-awareness.
Unless by "children" you mean babies. Because those fuckers have no self-control.
Edit: And by "those fuckers" I mean babies.
Why are people digging into the semantics of the word "child" in this thread?
The point is that they are acting IMMATURELY. 👌
Semantic debates are easy to feel like you've won, they're the low hanging fruit of the debate world. Sometimes people (including myself, I'm guilty of it too sometimes) just want an easy win.
I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that they were doing the whole "that's an insult to children's intelligence" bit. Still just a variation on what I already said lol.
Trump was mentored by Roy Cohn. Cohn was Joe McCarthy's attack dog and had a reputation as the most vicious lawyers in New York. Cohn was the guy who taught Donny to make contracts with mid level businesses and then stiff them.
Trump repaid these lessons by abandoning Cohn when he found out Cohn had AIDS
I genuinely think something is broken in Trump. The closest thing he ever had to a friend is Jeffrey Epstein.
Epstein said that he was D's best friend for 10 years. Said he was charming and could sell anything. Then said he used that for evil as he trashed all his friends and wives in a pattern: build trust, draw people in, and pop a nasty betrayal.
The recording is doing the rounds on social media again.
That would mean that Epstein had nothing on Trump. Would Trump betray Epstein's friends if Epstein could destroy him?
Heard it. He also said Trump is smart about real estate… and nothing else.
I remember an old black and white movie where one pirate saves another's life.
I can't recall the exact line, but it was something like "I had to save you; you're the only other person I've ever met who is as evil as I am."

Could be the 2003 Disney movie Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl? Not black & white though.
It’s spoken by Captain Hector Barbossa (played by Geoffrey Rush) to Elizabeth Swann (Keira Knightley) during a tense moment on the island. The full exchange is:
Could be the 1940 pirate film "The Sea Hawk", starring Errol Flynn and Claude Rains.
In one scene, the villainous Captain Thorpe (played by Claude Rains) says to the protagonist, Geoffrey Thorpe (Errol Flynn), something along the lines of:
Another possibility is "Captain Blood" (1935), also starring Errol Flynn and Basil Rathbone, where rival pirates exchange similar banter.
Other options are:
Thing just made up a scene whole cloth.

Full movie.

It was Charles Laughton speaking to John Carradine
For something a tad more modern, I can't praise "Black Sails" enough. All the sex and violence fo GOT with a much faster pace.
edit =forgot the link. shiver me timbers.
I don't know any of these names but I bet this was a smart comment. I just know too little.

McCarthy was a major part of the Red Scare of the 1950s.
As depicted in The Apprentice (the movie).
