Thats a fair point. It seems to be badly designed, engineeres and made, all at the same time.
My point was that it's not uncommon for some of these electric cars that were rushed to be pretty bad. (Not because they are electric, but the rush to get models to the market.) The Toyota Bz4x was recalled (and sales stopped) because the wheels fell of.
