It's three coats of colour for a total of five coats. Any more than that usually peel for me.

I showed this to my girlfriend, she recommended a similar color of eye shadow brushed on, with a clear coat on top, if you have one.

That is so clever, thank you and thank her for me! I've used eye shadow on my lips, but never on my nails.
