No matter if you have one or multiple fursonas (animal-based or not) or are just here to enjoy the artworks, all are welcome and respected here.
Rules
- Don’t be an asshole. While disagreements are normal in a discussions, personal attacks and harassment are going to be removed.
- Mark NSFW posts accordingly. Porn and nudity must not be posted here (we have dedicated communities for this kind of content).
- When posting artwork, cite the source and name the author. If possible with links to their socials. If the original source is unknown, at least link to the source where you got the image from.
- AI content is not welcome.
- You can still post discussions about it if the topic is something you consider important for the community.
- If you think something is AI, point it out (comment + report); but don't accuse someone of slopposting without a valid reason.

honestly, all you gotta do is find an artist you like and see if they are open for commissions. there are tons of smaller artists who don’t have big queues! i’d say check around the furry scene on Bluesky and don’t be shy sending a DM if they’re accepting requests. let them know you are new and tell them up front you’re looking for someone who is able to help assist them more than the average client. they’ll decide if they wanna do that for you or not. that’s basically what i did and it went well.

Also want to piggy back because if this is a sona, do you (OP) have a clear idea of what you are or look like? The more time you spend figuring these things out, writing detailed stuff down, making crude sketches or perhaps editing bases, the more likely whoever it is that you speak with will be able to bring your idea and identity to life. Whatever mediums work best to help you visualize your sona, will also help the person drawing it. In this way, both of you have less headache making changes, or being dissatisfied with results.
