US support wasn't major until the 1970s and 80s. Notably, in the 1950s, we opposed them (and France, and the UK) during the Suez Canal Crisis.
US support of Israel isn't timeless, as much as pro-Israel politicians want people to think it is.
Thats still a notable chunk of time to follow the consistency. Thank you for the correction though. All of this feels eternal and I fucken hate it all.
