Sounds different if we choose a different activity. Such a blanket statement is offensive and doesn't factor in disability.
I have to agree with bleistift2 that you chose a bad example here, at least in regards to the United States and other rampantly car-dependent places. Obviously the wording is ableist, but someone complaining about a real issue such as car-dependency or just generally high-class laziness might not think of that at the time. I agree with that. People at work have discussed having pizza delivered from a restaurant that’s 400m away. This is ridiculous and should be discouraged. But it also doesn’t invalidate measures for disability.
Yeah if you change the words in a sentence it means something else
