Washington Capitals vs. Montreal Canadians?
Caps need to snap out of this funk that they've been in for the last month or so.
I didn't realize they were in a funk, I was eclipsed by the Ovi record chase. What'd you think of their play last night?
They've leaned pretty heavily on LT their first two games. If you look at how the Caps finished the regular season, losing to the Blue Jackets, the Isles, etc, it didn't inspire a lot of confidence. I'm glad they're off to a 2-0 lead in the series against the Habs, but I think they'll need to find another gear if they're gonna make a deep run this year. I'd love nothing more than to see Ovi win another cup before he retires, and I think they can do it this year if LT stays healthy and everyone eats their wheaties, but it's gonna be a slog. Then again, I know that's how its supposed to be. We'll see!
