She's making a square loaf! That looks like this:
A loaf of bread, visibly round.
...what do you mean, it is not square?

ExplanationThis type of bread was known by the Romans as panis quadratus. "Quadratus" typically mean "square", but in this case it's because of the four cuts. "Panis" is simply [a loaf of] bread.
