I wish Pat stayed. I worry about the new CEO spinning off their fabs, and axing the GPU line impatiently. The GPU sector will likely take a decade before it's really solid, imo. I hope Intel can have that much patience. They need at least four generations imo.
Yeah the production time frames of the semi conductor industry won't work well with the modern short term tenures of CEOs. There's only so much you can build in 5 years
Getting in the GPU game in the current environment is a huge undertaking. Arc was clearly a first generation product. Battlemage is far more viable, if you're going for a relatively cheap dGPU, there is no better option than B580/B670.
