I can't be the only person who feels like this is one of their more overrated songs, right?
This became a bar theme for frat boys, I couldn't stand it, because I had loved the shit out of Modest Mouse for years at that point. Having people who I couldn't fucking stand love it so much broke something inside me.
Me, too. Glad that they got recognition, but they totally went poppy. When I found out it got Kidz Bopped I never listened to anything else they put out. A friend told me their newest album is good, but not really interested. Still consider Long Drive and The Moon and Antarctica as top tier and very influential on me as an angsty teen.
