This agreement opens the flow of information from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to Immigration Control and Enforcement (ICE) for the purpose of immigration enforcement. There are federal statutes that protect taxpayer privacy, however this Republican administration has demonstrated that it doesn't care about the law.
