This is great news that can bring Ukraine back into its natural security/trade relationship with Russia.

Budapest memorandum

That is grossly unrealistic view of Russia's needs.

Ukraine backers cannot be allowed to see success in their provocation of the war, and categorically shameful, in addition to unrealistic, to think otherwise. Resetting Ukraine politically to 2013, less CIA Euromaidan nazi front, is necessary, and provides a fantastic future for Ukraine.

Who cares about Russia's needs except Russian oligarchs? The Russians were much better off before Putin made Russia a dictatorship. Fact of the matter is, people don't like dictators, and sooner or later dictators and their servants will get what's coming. You pretend to be anti war, but what do you do if I came into your home, slapped you in the face, stole your food and took your children? Because it sounds like you're the kind of person to lay down and massage my feet in the name of peace.

Ukraine is the one that forced the war. Putin reigned in oligarchy. You are thinking of CIA puppet Yeltsin, and blaming the guy who fixed his corruption. This is what happens with 80 years of propaganda consumption. All of it is "true" in perpetuity.

Yeah glad the guy who, for some reason has been in charge for over 20 years and changed the law to keep in power until 2036 has fixed corruption.

I've been to Moscow years ago. Our taxi driver took us to some abandoned street, the police arrived and took our passports. It took $300 to get them back. Long live the fight on corruption.
