When i leave work i force myself to not think about it anymore until the Next Working day. I Turn off work Mails etc.
I commute to work by bike, more than 30min. It somehow helps to leave work behind on my way back. While my thoughts are still work related at the beginning of my ride I think about other things when reaching home.
Sport and making music, where you have to focus on something else than your current stress are also very helpful to silence the stress thoughts.
And of course talking about it with friends.
The bike riding is a great idea, its exercise and distraction. How long have you been biking to work?
Currently its 40min one way. Before I lived in a smaller City , so the way to work was only 15min.
