<Nia Liston: The Merciless Maiden Volume 6> - I had hoped for more of the Magivision production side after the long stretch of adventuring in the last volumes. There was a little bit of that, but the focus shifted for the largest part to two side characters and their goings-on leading up to the big tournament. In a series called “Lia Niston,” I really don’t want almost an entire volume of Bob the Builder and Yogi the Bear. [5/10]

<Victoria of Many Faces, Vol. 2> - Absolute exceptional volume. The first half is an adventure story that made me feel like watching Goonies for the first time as a kid. I wish this part could have lasted longer. The second part dealt with the fallout of that adventure and tying up loose ends to bring it to a nice and tidy conclusion. My main problem with the series at this point is that there was over half a year between volume 1 and 2. I don’t want to wait that long for vol. 3. [8/10]

META: As you can see, Myne now does scores. I'm still looking for a good name though. Rotten Tomatos has a "TomatoMeter". What should we have? "BookScore"? Boring. WormScore? Do people get that it's adapted from Bookworm? How about "WyrmScore"? Same idea as the last option but with InstantCool™ mixed in.

Hello Bookworm! I looked it up, and the Library in Alexandria — which just so happens to be the greatest in all of Yurgenschmidt, nay... even the entire world — has the following entries:

Nia Liston: The Merciless Maiden by J-Novel Club: 🖥️ Vol. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 (1 Bookworm rated it at average 5.0/10)

Victoria of Many Faces by Yen Press: 📖 Vol. 1, 2; 🖥️ Vol. 1, 2 (1 Bookworm rated it at average 8.0/10)

Victoria was sitting on my to read pile for a week. Maybe I will be in the mood to read as you gave it strong score.

META: I wonder how good bookwyrm integration is with lemmy. Now we are doing 80% of what it does but without fancy UI.

For the score name I think Myne would name it like Naudé score or Naudé points or just Naudé Number

Naudé score

That's an interesting suggestion. It would most definitely be something Myne would suggest. My contra point about it is that it's too specific to grasp without reading that wikipedia article first.
